The association supports Chartered physiotherapists with an interest in sports and exercise medicine.
It aims to assist members to develop knowledge and skills, by providing a network of sports physiotherapists regionally and nationally, and offering a variety of theoretical and hands-on learning opportunities.
Membership is open to all CSP members with a small annual fee of £75 for qualified members and a discounted rate of £25 for pre-registration students.
The ACPSEM offers a curriculum of courses to advance learning and encourages reflection to advance practice via the CPD pathway. This pathway is aligned with the IFSPT competencies and more information is available here
Members can also benefit from courses circulated by regional representatives or advertised in the members section. You will also have access to three online journals (Physical Therapy in Sport, British Journal of Sports Medicine and International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy), as well as a wide selection of discounts from our partners.
