The Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sport and Exercise Medicine (ACPSEM) are now working closely with the British Journal of Sports Medicine (BJSM). To provide an opportunity for members to publish and share cutting-edge content via a blog, with the wider Sport and Exercise Medicine community on an international scale
Main aims of the blog:
Content can include latest research, hot topics, experiences / insights of those working at the coalface of Sports and Exercise Medicine. But it needs to be clinically relevant.
Guidelines for writing the blog:
If you have an idea for a blog please email ACPSEMBlogs@gmail.com with the subject ‘ACPSEM Blog’. The idea will be peer reviewed by the ‘ACPSEM Education Committee Panel’. If successful the panel will liaise directly with the BJSM to determine if clinically relevant for publication. The outcome will be communicated via email as soon as notification is received. Members must adhere to the following guidelines when writing the blog.
Final submissions must be sent to ACPSEMBlogs@gmail.com for review by the panel to check guidelines have been adhered to, they will then submit to the BJSM. The ACPSEM cannot guarantee final publication of the blog, as this is down to the Editors of the BJSM. But every attempt will be made to assist with this process.
Expectations of the ACPSEM:
The ACPSEM would request acknowledgement of support by being tagged into the blog to promote ACPSEM activity and future blogs.
